GEORGIA QB FROMM BREAKS NON-THROWING HAND IN BOATING ACCIDENT

Returning University of Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm suffered a small fracture of his non-throwing hand in a freak boating accident earlier this week. The injury is not considered serious and Fromm is already throwing and not expected to miss any summer workouts. Fromm was in the back of a boat wake boarding with friends when the handle on the pull line snapped, hitting the back of Fromm’s hand.

As a true freshman last year, Fromm completed better than 62% of his passes for 2615 yards and 24 touchdowns. Fromm led Georgia to the SEC championship and guided the Bulldogs in their loss to Alabama in the National Championship game. Georgia has brought in 5* quarterback recruit Justin Fields to contend for the job but Fromm is expected to remain the Bulldog starter in 2018.
